Eureka does the same thing only if you nail him from behind its a one hit.
Seriously it crits from behind? Well I just got that weapon like a week ago and never really used it yet though it sounds awesome to be able to teleport. However not being able to move something sounds like a massive drawback but if your buildings are screwed anyways it will save respawn time so I can see advantages.
Offence - non 5pt CP
Widowmaker, Pistol, Stock
Offence - 5ptCP
Frontier justice, Pistol, Gunslinger
Defence - large map
Widowmaker, Wrangler, Eureka Effect
Defence- Mid/Small map
Widowmaker, Pistol, Stock wrench
MvM -
Pompson, Wrangler, Stock.
No, the engineer just gets a crazy amount of random crits.
I run Stock shotgun, wrangler, and wrench for defense
FJ, pistol, gunslinger for offense
FJ, wrangler, Jag for MvM
I don't recommend the jag for any other situation besides MvM, after you've built your stuff all you have left is a wrench with -25% damage. You have to use that thing for spychecking.
If your using an ordinary sentry Widowmaker or Shotgun will do. Have the Wrangler if you plan on having your sentry in a place with plenty of wide open space, as to obviously avoid people standing out of range. Also have the Wrangler equiped if the enemy has Medics and you know they will be ubering (switch to the wrangler and switch back, your sentry will have the sheild even while de-activated), as the bubble sheild from the wrangler can keep your sentry alive during an uber and your sentry won't waste it's ammo/your metal on an invincible target if it's de-activated.
I only use the Pompson when I know I'll be forced to lag behind and defend an area that is relatively safe from enemies/you have freindly cover. You can fire it from halfway across the map and deal chip damage to enemies without abandoning your sentry, which often helps your team keep the pressure high.
Choice of wrence really doesn't matter...Jag's downside is WAY to big IMO, because buildings build LESS than a SECOND faster, and as mentioned in posts above you need your wrench to disarm spies. I've been playing TF2 a long time, and I've never really had a moment where the Southern Hospitality's bleed saved me or really made a difference. It's still a good weapon though, and if your just going to camp behind your sentry the fire weakness isn't too bad. The ordinary Wrench obviously has no downsides, and should be used if you plan on playing aggressively or being in the front lines and you don't want to use a Mini Sentry. Since there is no weaknesses or damage penalties it's the only option for playing offensively other than the Gunslinger with Mini Sentrys. Also if your playing offensively and you have decent aim the Widowmaker is a good choice.
The Short Circuit is amazing, but is hard to use and takes A LOT of practice to really be useful. Also it uses metal faster than a Level 3 Dispenser can generate metal, so make your shots count with it.
Also if you want to know what weapons to use you need to think for yourself. You need to look at these comments and the stats of the weapons and base your item choice on your own ideas and experience. Don't just wait for someone to tell you what to do.
If u hate the mini like i do use Widowmaker and jag (and for long range use Wrangler).
Short circuit should be used if projectiles come at ur buildings a lot and if u have a good source of metal.
