find good server that bans idiots
Problem solved
After a good long search one night while pubbing (About 15 minutes) I only came up with 3 maps. 2 were payload, the other payload race. Added to favorites, being a vanilla gametype, but...
not good enough...
You thinking of trying something a little bit more... competetive? eh eh? Nudge nudge wink wink? More serious players, joining together for legitimate matches of the competetive nature, yeah? Wink wink nudge nudge?
Check out TF2Lobby.come some time, best used while using the In-Game browser so you spend no time between games getting into the next- other times, you may spend 15-20 minutes waiting for the game to fill up.
Anyway, if you anything about TF2 competetive gameplay then you know about highlander, 6v6 and other game rules. At Tf2 lobby, once a "lobby" is full, everyone is given a "link" of sorts, that when you click on it gives the command to TF2 to 'load' the server up in game, and input the password automatically. In some cases you may have a disconnection problem before joining with everyone else, but most lobbies will not only post saying the server has started, giving the link to join, AND the temporary password, incase you are unable to join on your first try, manually inputting the password yourself will get you in when asked. :P
Of course, there is a time limit when the game starts, generally it is customary for the 2 team medics to check their team for all their members being present. Double checking with eachother that all members have arrived, and the medics will ready-up. When the medics do, so will the rest. There are cases of course where it may just seem a little funky and people show signs of not being completely sure on the ettiquite of competitive match-ups.
But, if you're getting bored of kids, F2ps, the pony craze or such- and have that yerning for good competetive games, where people actually try, and/or know what they're doing.. Sounds like
Tf2lobby is something you'll really enjoy getting into.
Finally, somebody who notices that about them.
Hey, if he had it for a month, I'd think he'd have SOME idea what the community was like. Maybe not much, but enough to notice a change.
Yeah, I've been noticing recently that a lot of the adult players aren't too much better than the prepubescents they're always harping on.
depending on the division, not really
