Microphone only works on GameArena servers.

So when I play on a GA server my mic quallity is damn near perfect. However when I'm not, and press the mic button on a non GA server...EVERYONE's sound gets heavily disorted and cuts out for as long as I hold down the mic button...How can I fix this?
