tf2 dedicated server problem

when i launch my tf2 dedicated server instead of show me server console (in black and white) it show me a classical consoe, how can i hae the server consoel?? (a friend told me that there is a .bat file but i haven't got any or i can't find it)

Maybe you should try other forums cuz maybe they have people who know what you're talking about. I play TF2 but i do not host. Every dedicated server is different but i recommend you open your game properties and click verify cache just to be sure all your files are there.

Are you launching the dedicated server through the tools section of steam or through HLDSupdatetool?

You should be using HLDSupdatetool and also -console should be in the launch parameters of the start shortcut.
