TF2 CRASH TO DESKTOP

Will this ever get fixed?

Random audio stutter then TF2 screen minimises and then I cant get back to the TF2 screen and have to end task. Ridiculous problem thats been happening for a long time and I am not the only one. I've tried all so called "fixes" but really they are just guesses because nobody "REALLY" knows do they.

The commonality is the fact I am running Win7 64bit and all others who have reported this problem have the same OS. No other game crashes this way. Its a TF2 thing

I have the same bloody problem! It only started about 2 weeks ago, the audio stutters and the damn game minimises, then crashes when I try to use it again. I have Win7 premium 64bit and it just keeps happening. I JUST WANT TO PLAT TF2!!!!!!!

I am having this problem as well off and on for a year or so now. Any fixes?

Yep same here, I thought it was windows 8 being on an SSD hard drive. The game crashed on me 3 times yesterday. Sometimes it doesnt crash or freeze for days worth of playing. It is very annoying.

I fixed this by geting a new computer,try geting a new computer than,doesnt work? ask valve i guess

its from W7 100% sure i have played tf2 on my 7 year old pc with no problems that had XP

Nope its not win7 fault. Its your video card. TF2 have problems with a few video cards. Most of the nvidia's video cards below GTX280 have some kind of crashes with TF2. And even a few ATI cards too.

I'ts an old problem. And they will not fix cause nobody know what causes it. I used to have an old 9800GT on my computer but bought a new one 2 years ago to play TF2 properly. Now I have a GTX 570 and no crash at all.

this happens for me on windows 10 and my computer was upgraded from WXP to W7 To W10
