So, will robo crates eventually rise in price?

So after june 3rd they become rare. There is about 370,000 copies of this item. Eventually people will want to unbox it and they will become more and more rare over the months. This will happen right?

Definitely. I'm hoarding these suckers and in a year I'll sell them for a key each or whatever they will be worth.

Im hording em too, planning to keep them in my attic inventory page for a year. Or a few months. I bet these things will be worth as same as a salvaged crate overtime? *1 year later* Sigh, gonna go in my attic. *whipes dust off of a robo crate* OH I TOTALLY FORGOT *worth 5 keys* ._.

Probably. It depends on how people will sell them. Right now, the price isn't a whole lot due to a bunch of them appearing. But the rise will at least strengthen if a lot are in demand (which still are). There's still a ton (around 11,000) selling on the Steam Market.

They will eventually die down, people will run outa robocrates to unbox. They will get all sold out. In a year they will probably be worth a few keys? Also, Robocrates are just beginning to rise, they are 2 scrap atm.

It would take a while for the prices to go up since everyone has a robocrate in their inventory.

Theres quite alot of good hats in it. Mecha medes (In demand). Steam pipe... modest pile of scrap... etc...

People are forgetting that RoboCrates are sometimes recieved when a person uses a Pallet of Crates in a Server. It's statistically possible for 23 RoboCrates to drop from a single Pallet, So if ever RoboCrates do stop dropping normally, it will still perpetuate itself through Pallet of Crates, like a chain-letter that never ends.

My opinion : These will rise and be ina decently high demand because : Unboxing them garuntees geting a hat worth anywhere from 1.33-around a key (So you wont be at a loss unboxing crappy 1-2 scrap stranges) So they will be the most preferable crate to unbox, and lets not forget that if someone is looking to unbox a large amount for the chance of an unusual, they have rare and limited effects that are decently popular and good looking.

I don't think all that much, if at all. There will be enough hats out there to choose from and trade for. So depending on their value, the robocrates my increase...or not.

Well they won't decrease :P Probably the best crate to mass unbox as you least you can get is a hat worth 1.33 ref.
