Missing map error.

So I just finished the conversion to Steampipe and now when I try to join servers with custom maps I'm getting an error which reads 'Missing map maps/[map name here], disconnecting'.
The thing is the map downloads fully, but then as soon as it finished it says the map doesn't exist.
I understand that this is something to do with the Team Fortress 2 folders being moved to the 'common' directory but I'm unsure what exactly.
What's even more odd is after I've downloaded the map and it says unable to connect, missing map, the map isn't even in the maps folder. Maybe it's downloading it temporarily or something? I really don't know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which operating system are you using?

never had this issue on vista

i was able to fix it by changing it to only download map files, so for me i guess it was the sound files causing the actual problem
