TF2 crashing in main menu

i am having an annoying problem that when ever i lauch my TF2 it loads but once it gets to the main menu it crashs and dosnt even have a error message i have tired the following things to fix
In order

validate and defrag
-autoconfig in startup menu
uninstalling reinstalling( took long time to redownload)
restart pc
delete certain folders that could possible causeing problems

i am sort of at a loss on what to do i started in debugging mode and this is the doco for it i have been playing about 5 months before the F2P update came out

Is the crash a black (or solid) screen and the whole computer freezes and doesn't respond to any input and requires a 'hard restart' to use again?

Also are those SSD (Solid state drives) and would they happen to be Samsung?

the problem was that one of my pc's key registerous with steam was broken( there was a fancy term that steam support used) and basicly it didn't fix itself untill that file conversion came out
