Sniper: Um. Go play some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ flash games to improve your reaction speed or whatnot.
Well, I'm alone usually and someone is trying to kill me so I load them with needles and I end up dieing.
So stop doing that. Don't leave spawn without a teammate and don't let the teammates around you die.
Being a battle-medic requires quite some skill too. Using the Solemn Vow might be useful, it gives you the chance to spot some low-health targets that you can finish off. Works pretty well for me. Also, melee is often more reliable than actually shooting with syringe/crossbow.
Sniper yeah, it's a class people dedicate themselves to in basically every single FPS. It takes quite a bit of practice.
A small tip that has helped me get better at sniper (but people look down upon doing so) is using the Sydney Sleeper. It takes away the pressure of performing headshots and you can just focus on getting the timing right. After being more comfortable with timing your shots, you can start practicing headshots because at the end of the day, people will always yell at you if you bodyshot.
Soldier is probably the easiest class to get good at.
Direct hits will take some time to master but you'll always still have splash-damage and the ability to spam if needed. Either way, you'll be effective.
But most of the times the teammates let their medic die.

Never heard of MGE or DM. What do they stand for please?
MGE is just some community gamemode that defies the basic concept of team fortress 2 by dropping you in a 1v1 arena with some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who does nothing but that all day.
DM is deathmatch, not sure how you could've not known that one.
