Team Fortress 2
Does Health REALLY Matter
Just think about this.
Every arguement of why Soldier is OP tends to have second highest health with health regen unlockables.

But then every Scout is not OP arguement tends to have this as well. Scout is squishy (random face thing emote.)

But does health really matter in this game?

Topic is dead.

so you' won't mind if every1 had like 2 health

You haven't suggested anything to the contrary.
health is for the weak

just make sure the guy on the other team has less health than you and you win

I should've seen that incoming.

Consider the following.
Damage reduction is only guanrteed through the use of better movement and positioning. Move perfectly out of damage and thus your health will never matter due to the fact you are not taking damage.

But also consider this.
A health pack gives increased health back depending upon max health of a class. Overheal also is 150% of a class' health.

Finally, nearly every arguement of why Heavy is UP.
His 300 health, the highest in the game, gets shreded easily due to lack of mobility.

You asked if health is important. The game is built on your ability to reduce your enemy's health while keeping yor's high enough to live. All game mechanics are built around health one way or another with the exception of teleporters.

Which is a method of getting your gun to the enemy's face faster, so tehcnically it does concern health.

Yet a person at 1 measly health is still fully capable of damage and capping.

most shots cannot be avoided
you can't dodge a rocket fired from close range for example
hitscan is only about throwing off the enemy's crosshair, and it can't be conventionally avoided

you also need to put yourself within effective range in order to do damage yourself
[unless you're a sniper]
