Make a new tutorial for the newer ones...
I'm getting sick and tired of how many matches I get into with bad players that don't do the objectives and doesn't know when to attack -_-

Yeah its just that the newer people don't even know about the community...

I guess the game should notify them, because most people don't even know that there is a tutorial. The given one is pretty basic and quite alright, I guess, but it could cover all classes. Not a high priority update, tho.

Best example is Medic.
Newbs (not noobs) go medic because they hear the common advice to go medic to learn the game. Yet they either drop their uber (not bad, they'll learn) or they don't heal, because they are afraid to overload the Medigun. (Yes, that's a thing).

A simple, 3 minute tutorial would be nice.

Or, other solution. Create a badge that you get for completing the tutorial. That way, because everybody wants misc's, they'll play it. (lol, jk)

No, no, I heard that several times now. People sometimes think that as a Medic they can only heal until the Ubercharge-Meter hits 100%. So they avoid overhealing.

A tutorial for every single class would be very nice. I'm the type of person who completes tutorials in every multiplayer game and/or reads a couple of guides before hopping in the mutiplayer portion of a game, and it always irked me that the default tutorials for TF2 barely teach anything and the most popular guides for TF2 are often the shittiest ones. If you think about it, it's really not the newbies' fault that they're shoved in a multiplayer game with no prior experience and no information about the game and then are expected to perform to the level of players who have been playing for hundreds of hours.

Except, according to the achievement stats, around 85% of all TF2 players never actually completed the tutorial (Ready for Duty). Even if we cut off a huge chunk of players who have alts etc. it's still a massive amount.

Yup. Certain people expect every newbie to read a guide or ten before they get into the game. It kind of reminds me of a certain person...

Oh, right. The author of this guide. The fact that his profile is private and there's several thousands of other guides on Steam does not help in the slightest.

It's by far the most thorough guide I've seen for TF2, and why exactly does the privacy settings for his account matter?

Because people are unable to reach anything you made via your profile page when it's private?
The guide might not be bad, but half of it is riddled with links to the wiki, and knowing the kind of person the author is, I would never want him as my teacher.
