Team Fortress 2
New tf2 update ruined my mac's fps PLEASE HELP!
Hi everyone

Before the latest update of tf2 (the one that came at September 10, 2014)

i managed to install chris config in my mac and aget a constant fps of 120 - 200
But after updating the game, i noticed that the fps have became a constant 60 fps all the time, with even fps drops.

Any help would be appreciated

TF2 Mac seems to run in its own Space recently, perhaps it has to do something with that? I'm not sure how/what you could change though...

still a ripoff from samsung

either be first or be a ripoff - they chose the lather and it's pointless without your Phone nearby, so when you have your Phone on you, you could very well be looking on your Phone

but wait let's buy tis overly expensive watch that will uncharge itself within minutes so you can do the same thing you already could

see the problem apple is creating here..........

they used to be innovating and actually good, then they became greedy and now they make crap just for the money of it all ( customerwelfare is irrelevant to them )

as it is with pretty much every company in existence

but still, they didn't have to stoop to that level .......... :(

well, a few updates ago it actually completly broken on macs
then they fixed it a bit ( but it's valve and macs )

keep in mind it's not their prior market and nothing is actually designed for it ( more ported onto it ) --- it's going to be a lot of trial and error at the users expense sadly

so you'll jsut have to be patient till they find something that works

Its not a rip off of samsung, apple actually thought through the problem and addressed it. Go look at samsungs product reveal vs apples, samsung pretty much just shrunk stuff to sorta fit and didn't think about how it would be used at all.

don't get me wrong, i'm not promoting samsung

it's all equally pointless :p

i just think they should have kept up what steve created, a product friendly to the users
but since he died they gave up on consumers and went full corporate -- he desserved more :(

I've also speculated that this issue was being caused by the game opening in a new "space". I tried disabling spaces in the terminal, it didn't help.

I tried turining vsync on

It kinda works but the crosshair moves a bit late when i move my mouse a bit

This is also an issue for me. I thought I was the only one. My mouse delays quite a bit. It's irritating.

get a pc thats the only fix
FROTKEEPER Sep 13, 2014 @ 9:59am
^^ But seriously, is this a known issue for MAC?

I have the same issue. I certain its cause of how tf2 runs in its own space/desktop now.
