Pyro isn't fun for me

or try to use the flare gun more, the axtinguisher is much harder than the flare gun to use, an gets the same result.

Faster rate of fire and the fact that it's a hitscan weapon rather than a projectile weapon makes it a bit more reliable when it comes to aiming and timing than the flare gun.

Add in the ability to win almost every 1 vs 1 with another pyro who doesn't use the shotgun, and the ability to give you range while underwater, and you have in my opinion, the best pyro secondary in the whole game.

Try some dodgeball, see whether you can get into the reflect game; and if you're skilled with it surprise soldiers and demomen who underestimate your reflection skills.

Standing next to a sentry for hours on end, Spychecking and homewrecking sappers off. What fun.
...When I play for funsies, I use Stock Flamethrower, Stock Shotgun, and Homewrecker/Axtinguisher. Axtinguisher is reserved for when there's an annoying amount of Heavies on the other team, I can kill everyone else with the shotgun. It also doesn't feel as cheap as using Degreaser. (It's fun when Scouts come at you expecting herp derp flaregun, and get two-shot in midair)
When I play for winsies, I use Degreaser, Reserve Shooter and Axtinguisher. Murderifies everything™.
I also have a loadout that's Gas Jockey with Flaregun, and another that's Phlog, Detonator and Neon Annhilator. Both are situational (Gas Jockey for when there's no Pyros on the enemy team, Phlog for derp)
I usually get at least 3 kills per life. Winning is fun for me.
