Are any of this item any good?
A few hours ago a guy offer me a trade, my ellis cap for his strange shovel and 2 strange eviction notice, i accept the trade because i don't know about the price or anything. My question is, does any of this item have a good price? or is it better if i just keep my ellis cap? (even though i already traded it lol)

I know, but do you think it's a great deal? because when i see its a strange item, i quickly
trade it without thinking it over, but i just think that a few strange item for an ellis cap is a bit too good, or maybe the stranges that i get is basically worthless? sorry i'm relatively new to the game so i'm not familiar with the economy.

The ellis cap is easy to get, so its usually worth 1.3 ( 4 reclaimed) while the weapons you traded for are worth 1 reclaimed each. Given that traders need to be slightly above market price to make profit, I'd say it was fair, especially since some traders don't even bother with non-bulk trades.

The basic unit of tf2 trade is the scrap metal that you get from burning two weapons, its twoupgraded versions, keys, and buds.

Ellis Cap isn't worth much, I'd say it was fair.

Small piece of advice: Look up prices somewhere before trading.

It wasn't good. Ellis cap is sold commonly for 1 ref. However, the shovel is sold for .33, and the eviction notices for .22 each. .33+.22+.22=.77, so you only lost 2 scrap. Better than opening up a :crate:!

I need to get out o the habit of just rounding up when I see a .22 or .77. I think I've literally overpaid for every strange or cosmetic I've ever bought. On the other hand, I've technically made it all up in net value due to the shotgun's price being way higher than it was back then.

I would accept it
those things are hard to sell
