Defiantly the TF2 items because than you sell them and get rich. Not sure about this but half life probably has multiplayer (sorry if im wrong) and so it would be boring to play by your self.

The originals had it, but with Half Life 2, you have to buy a whole new game (Half Life Deathmatch)

Think about it. When you've played HL3 enough times, you can sell it for a ♥♥♥♥ ton of money and still buy tons of tf2 items. For example, I played HL2 two times... I'm not gonna play it again. The HL series is like a one time thing, when you've played it once or twice, it's like a life achevement, and if you already got it you don't need to get it again.
