Could it be done? I saw on the wiki that the weapon can have craft numbers, but I was wondering if anyone knew for sure if you could before I start wasting all my metal on false hope.

thats what I was thinking, I guess i'll just have to wait for the update that makes them tradable/craftable. Maybe I'll buy it in the mann co. store if it isn't stupidly expensive.

You can't buy any promos from the Mann Co. store, because it would be a breach of contract for them to sell it. Anything that's a promo for another game is kept out of the Mann Co. store. Even the vita-saw, and that's just inspired by Bioshock, not even a promo.

Don't bother attempting to low-craft weapons as people will already have lots of sniper tokens, primary tokens and scrap metal ready as well as having their computer alert them immediately when an update occurs. The first 100 crafts will take about a minute and I'm guessing most of them will be crafted by bots. If you don't want a low-craft but just a normal higher craft one then wait patiently for the update and spend a few tokens trying to get one.

I don't care about the craft number, I just want one but i don't want to shell out the money to buy thief because my computer can't even run it. Basically meaning that I'm a cheap bastard but I still want things.

1 minute is inaccurate, 14~ minutes is what it took for the ham shanks which were easier to craft. Which I got my now sold #69 ham from
