Liberty launcher or Dirct hit?

as someone who doesnt play soldier that often i want to get into soldier but i dont know what launcher is bettr that isnt the beggars bazooka which one is btter for a newbie soldier recruit?

If you use lib launcher, use market gardener and reserve shooter to maximize damage.
If you use direct hit, use a banner item. I don't recommend direct hit for newbs because of the small explosion range.

so liberty launcher? if so i dont have it so direct hit is my only option atm... unless you would be willing to trade but thats a compltly diffrente topic altogether

You can still use stock, remember. You should definitely practice with the direct hit before using it.

Well, I'm kind of a noob, but I've found the direct hit to be extremely useful for taking out sentrys.

Really the best is stock. Sometimes using the cow mangler is fun, but consider it has no crits Mackey Mouze.

Liberty Launcher was my best friend when I started playing Soldier.

That was when the downside was -25% clip size instead of -25% damage, though...

The Liberty Launcher is a good training launcher, but once you get the hang of it you should move on to Stock, and then take the bigger leap to the Direct Hit. The Direct Hit is probably the best launcher overall if you can aim with it.

If you're used to things like sniper or demo (with grenade launchers) and want to move to soldier, go with direct hit. If you're not, go with stock or liberty launcher.

Well nobody in league play uses any rocket launchers other than stock, and I don't see why any of the alternatives would be on the list of banned weapons.

Liberty Launcher has a very high skill threshold, as it needs to be partnered with key weapons to keep its damage up; and you need to be pro at rocket-jumping to make full use of the self-damage reduction.

Direct Hit is a great choice if you are a good aim, as the higher direct damage is always useful and being able to pop-up or air-bang targets and get crits is lethal.

However, new players should just use stock. It's the most straight-forward and versatile.

1)Direct hit is pretty much the best for experienced players who knows how to aim.
2)Black box is the best, if survivability is the top priority.
3)Beggars is all about timing your rockets.
4)Liberty as it was said above a good choice for learning how to aim and jump+melee kill with market gardener, Liberty is like a step towards learning Direct hit with its fire speed.
