No. Just No. Are you that blind too not see you need too spend 50c? It says it when your f2p in the mannco store.

If you're one of these people, why do you do this?

Buying a gift-a-pult will grant you the upgrade to premium. There is no maximum or minimum amount that has to be spent in the Mann Co. store. You just have to make a purchase from the in-game shop.
