Can't seem to get ANY mods working?
I run win 8. Im trying to install mods like a hitsound and a weapon skin into tf2, followed all the tutorials but NOTHHING HAS BEEN WORKING. Any help?

I have Windows 8 as well and I have a hitsound working now, and I'm looking for some kool skins. What are you doing?

Im downloading the mod extracting it and puting it in /tf/custom like tutorials said, but I can't get any mods working at all.

Are you just putting the files into tf/custom or are you making a folder for the hitsound? Or is it just the .vpk file?

Derp, not for the models, i should have explained that before. Just the hitsound if it's a .vpk just put it in /custom
