The reason why so many people are using it is BECAUSE IT'S NEW. I honestly prefer the afterburn resistance of the Charge and the damage increase on the Screen, and I'd honestly prefer a sticky launcher even after the nerf, but I'm using the tide turner because it's new. Just give it a week or 2 and it'll start going back to the way things were.

These are Demos moving at charge speed with full turning control. They can easily home in on you and get you before you can react.

People were yelling about the Splendid Screen being overpowered when it was released, last I checked.

Does anybody notice how people always bring up snipers as the answer to everything. Just something I noticed. XD

Anyway, tideturner is pretty nice and makes the demoknight viable. It's nice being able to kill a medic and charge away before the heavy gets you. Due to a bug, your charge meter refills after any non charge kill or assist. :D Not only that, but all shields in the game are bugged, so you can shield bash and slash with tide and targe at any range. I personally hope they don't fix these bug; this subclass deserves to be more viable.

it has almost no resistances vs the other shields, and no health bonus, keep that in mind, and if you use any kind of sword your health drops. He's rather squishy with it.
if your a soldier you could bounce him with the blast damage and scout you can double jump over him or something

they just come out of no where and you just automatically ment to jump over them
they have less health than a normal demoknight just shoot them.
