Whats a killstreak weapon? I'm using a key on a crate but not sure on what one is

Killstreak kits add killcounter to HUD and killfeed. When you kill an enemy with a killstreak weapon, you and others on the server can see the amount of kills you've gotten on that life. There are three types of killstreak kits that can be applied to weapons:

Normal kits, that add only the killcounter.

Specialized kits, that add killcounter, and a special color effect to the weapon. the effect also increases depending on the amount of kills you get in a single life.

and professional kits, they add killcounter, weapon color effect and a greater particle effect to the characters eyes.

All killstreak kits can be applied to any type of weapons (vintage, strange, festive, etc.) but each weapon has their own killstreak sets, which means that you can't apply a set meant for knife, to a shotgun.
