Will someone please do something about the Baby's Faces Blaster?
It makes no sense at all. The damage output is too much. The Scout's shotguns deliver so much damage by design, specifically the dual barrels. With no dual barrels, there is NO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ REASON IN HELL THAT THE BABY'S FACE BLASTER SHOULD HAVE INCREASED DAMAGE RAMP UP.

It should function as a normal shotgun, with no increased damage ramp up. It's a single barrel shotgun and the Scout should PLAY FAIR, AND BE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAS A SINGLE BARREL SHOTGUN IN THIS GAME.

Why does the Baby's Face do so much damage??? There is no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason for it. Put the magazine back up to 6 shots, I don't care, just someone please for the love of ♥♥♥♥ DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, OR GIVE OTHERCLASSES WEAPONS THAT ARE ALSO OVERPOWERED AND UNFAIR TOWARDS OTHER CLASSES.

As a Soldier facing a Baby Facer, I literally have no option other than to hope for a lucky shot, miss all my rockets, then my shotgun shots, then just get blown away OR I can attempt to run away to a sentry gun, try to rocket jump away and then get blown away when the scout overtakes me in a split second.

It's the faggiest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gun in this entire game. I used to think the Axetingsuisher was unfair, rediculous. Nope, nothing compared to this. The Axetinguisher can be countered by simply managing proximity. The Baby's Face skews all proximity.

The only real method to kill a Baby F. as a Soldier is to shack up somewhere with your back to wall, preferably on higher ground, and just... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... Wait. And 5 times out of 10, any preperations you make, any clever maneuvers will be just totally made pointless as the Scout rushes down your posistion and murders you.

It's not even visceral like the Axetinguisher. No, it's floaty, fluffy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Now, I've no problem if the weapon designs continue to be OP like that, if the Soldier gets his own little rediculous gun and the Medic and Engineer and all that ♥♥♥♥. But right now, The Baby Face is in a tier of it's own. It has no down sides (2 missing shells? It should be missing 3.), only upsides.

Like, let's look at a weapon of the Soldier's that, much like the Baby Face, focuses on mobility... The Liberty Launcher. A beautiful, beautiful weapon and a favourite of mine... It's utter ♥♥♥♥ compared to the Baby Face, but it seems like the Devs intend for the L.L. to counter Scouts with it's faster firing speed... So let's go through a basic scenario: If you can actually land a hit on the Scout with the L.L, you'll be doing 20 DMG at long range and about shotgun damage at close range... Maybe even less than shotgun damage, but so you land the hit and what happens? The Scout becomes wary of you, retreats, heals, then flanks and kills you in about 30 seconds.

The only guaranteed counter for the Baby Face is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sentry gun, and it's a real sad day when that's the case.

Usually, if I see a person with a Baby's Face on the other team, I'll just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ switch teams, because I know that that mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥ is going to be carrying and I also don't wanna deal with his ♥♥♥♥♥ ass.

Hopefully you people agree, maybe you'd read all this, I don't really care if you do or not, I just want a few people to post and so maybe one of the TF2 devs might look at this and agree, though I doubt it because those guys are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Like, did you know that TF2 was going to have an armour slot? For armour? Like, wow. Who's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea was it to scrap that and who hired him to infiltrate Valve and sabotage TF2?

Like, in all honesty, if, as a Soldier, I could wear bullet resistant armour, I would have no problem with the Baby Facer because he would probably be wearing bullet res armour too, or fire res, and then I would more so likely blow him the ♥♥♥♥ up.

Really, ♥♥♥♥ that Armor Slot nonsense, though, it is a bad idea. The very hats and miscs that proliferate this game SHOULD DO SOMETHING. They should be more than just useless flair, the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TF2 economy revolves around them. Give 'em stats, I say! GIVE THE CLOTHING STATS. It doesn't even have to be ♥♥♥♥ that ♥♥♥♥♥ with stats, anyway, like the custom HUD display for the Deus Specs that I saw in the workshop a while back.

What was I talking about? Oh yeah, ♥♥♥♥ the Baby Face's Blaster.

Why did they think it was a good idea to make the Scout faster than he already is. Basically to make the Soldier and Demo completely vulnerable.
Edit: Seriously the Scout should be more prone to fire or explosions if he's gonna be able to run with boost.

The Scout's shotguns have the same base damage as the stock Shotgun the other classes get - his only bonus is additional ramp-up at super-close range. Notably, the Shortstop doesn't have that.

Arguably, BFB shouldn't have that bonus ramp-up either.

Those things are not weapons with huge damage ramp-up dude. A full-blown shotgun with running boost? That wipes the Scattergun away.

6 clip>4 clip size. And most people find it difficult to aim at that speed. Shortstop FTW!
Really stop whining about the BFB it's a trade of weapon you lose a lot of your boost with the BFB when you double jump. The only way to aviod fall damage with out double jumping is the pocket pistol and that gives you more damage to pyros.
If there is 1 thing i must agree with,that is the scout bfb speed,yes i used it but its hard to aim with that gun and its most annoying when others can plus the speed makes them hard to kill so because of this i shall agree that bfb should return back to how it was used to
Hats must remained untouched, you foolish player.
Quirky stats can be fine, but when you try to make hats an active part of the game....

it has the same damage as stock. the only difference is that the scouts are actually fast enough to get close enough that the shotgun is used at max effectiveness. Consequently, the only drawbacks are the 10% beggining reduction speed and the double jump. To counter BFB scout, simply aim at the feet or airblast him as a pyro. unless the scout wants to die, they will double jump for their life, enough to slow em down a bit. If not, go heavy and slow em down with natasha, don't worry if they get away, you have enough ammo if the come back for more.

Arguably, BFB shouldn't have that bonus ramp-up either.
Why did Valve even interfere with the BFB in the first place? There was no problem with how it was previously and it was a balanced sidegrade how it was before it got buffed. Admittedly, it didn't get used much before, but just because a weapon doesn't get used much doesn't mean that it's a complete load of crap. It might just build bad habits if you have to get used to the stock or more mainstream side weapons for competitive for example.
Revert BFB back to its old stats and slap the current "loose quarter of your boost when doublejumping" and maybe raise up the amount of damage to fully fill up the boost.

There, much more interesting weapon to use instead of Scattergun Mark2.
