Gun Mettle Update Crashing

For some reason, the game keeps crashing every 2 or so minutes. This has only started happening after the new update. I play on mac. I've heard that TONS of mac users(and a few pc users) are having the same problem. Verifying the integrity of the game cache, and reinstallimg don't seem to work for me. I've also heard that it's broken for Linux users.

When I updated my tf2 to the most recent update and launched it, it said this, "Failed to read 2235861 bytes". Anyone have this issue as well? It just comes up with a black screen and that error message popping down from the top

It seems most mac users playing tf2 after the Gun Mettle update frequently crash, I'm a mac user and I hope Valve fix this

They updated it, and didn't solve the crash problem -_-

Guys guys, Mac users don't fret. It's not exclusively a Mac problem, as me a PC user has major issues as well. I believe all platforms have issues

I hope so, or I just wasted $6 on ticket and the only thing I can now do in the game is sit at the main menu and stare at all of my crap in my backpack until I go crosseyed and never recover.
