heavy is my least played class. it's the worst one if you think about it. needs 300 hp just to be somewhat viable

honestly the heavy, next to the solly is the most balanced class on tf2, hes not over or underpowered. i recommend using him only to defend, unless you go offense on payload, as you can move ontop of the cart and refill your ammo and health too. other than that, stay near an engy and his dispenser, and just point and shoot.

Heavy is about positioning. Avoid revving in the middle of an open area. Look behind you often, every spy wants heavy kills. Avoid showing your back to the enemy. Avoid standing still, even though you're slow, some motion is better than no motion.

Other than all that, just put your crosshair on an enemy and track.

Dont think 300hp makes you invincible, play carefully, dont just charge forward... If you gont have a medic, use the enviorment, dont just charge shooting in the open, you can be easily killed by pretty much anyone that way...
Use other friendly players to into a good position to attack, ie. wait for the soldier or scouts to start the attack you should be the second line of defense... You should not be the push without a medic but rather be the wall the keeps them from pushing back after your pushers have been killed long enough for them to return...
Heavies are easy to predict, so you have to try to be as unpredictable as possible... The slowest path can be a good way to take people by surprise...
Dont try to take people at range... Once again wait for an opening get close rev up and attack...If the enemy team are bad, then just charge forward shooting...if you have a medic, keep him alive above all things...

Thats pretty much all there is too it without going into load outs
