Could a rhythm game on my tablet improve my reaction speed?
I have recently started playing a rhythm game on my tablet and some of the notes are really fast. I've also noticed that I've improved somewhat as sniper. Could there possibly be a connection?

Well reaction time helps with learning Muscle Memory. Muscle memory is how we're able to get things down to a T everytime. So in a nutshell without going scientific, yes it does.
then again, sniper is based on a visual trigger to activate that reflex
fastly clicking m1 helps but it has no effect on aim whatsoever and since every situation of someone entering your line of sight is variable you can't automate aim

so it might help in fast clicking but will not, per say, make you a lot better at actual aiming

What is this rhythm game? id like to try it.
Depends on what you mean by tablet. Drawing tablet, such as with osu!, or phone/PC tablet, like you hit them with your fingers?
The song I play most often has about 4 notes per second. My keyboard an mouse have been the same a while now. I'll tell the name when I get back to my tablet. You get to use your own music
I use my thumbs, but I think it's my visual processing that's improving, not my actual click speed

Well, I can only speak from using a drawing tablet with a pen to play osu, but it would improve your mental ability and in my experience does carry over well to shooters.

I guess I don't see why a tablet game wouldn't help you, but my view has always been that your aiming skill comes pretty entirely from jumps (streams don't mean anything for aim, jumps are aim), which I haven't seen any tablet game get very difficult with.

Games that requires you to hit a note at a correct timing, games like osu! for computer, cytus for android/IOS and deemo which is for android/IOS too
