I cant get into tf2

i start tf2 i wait for it to load and once it loaded it crashed this has not stopped and i want to know what i can do or if someone is haveing the same problem

I have been having the same issue, i have tried multiple times to find a solution but have not managed it yet :\

I dont have any huds/mods in my game but thank you for telling me

I have this problem sometimes when I execute the shortcut from steam library.Well my advise is to you verify the integrity/cache files and after completing you will have to exit steam and reconnect.Doing these steps it worked with me.

You first go to your steam library of steam client and then you search for team fortress 2 shortcut and click with right mouse button and click in properties.After that you search inside the game's properties window for a section of Local files going into that you verify the integrity of the game and after completed and you log off from steam client and re-connect.

It could be to do with your dxlevel and resolution, that's how I fixed mine.

check your firewall + anti virus, make sure they allow steam + games through

I have played tones of TF2 before, but then, just randomly after an update it stopped working. Surely that doesnt have anything to do with the Firewall or anti virus :\
