Explorer Achievement

Has anyone tried getting this one? I played through the game a lot and recently installed it to try again.

Perhaps you don't have explored everything. I get it during my second play. You need to visit every place in the game one time.

This one is tied to visiting buildings outside as well (according to the description). If you get every ranger location, go down evey alley, check every stairwell, etc.. Just keep checking everything and it will drop. Did you get Metro_Dweller?

It doesn't matter how many times you completed it. If you didn't explore all possible areas, you won't get it.

I know that, but I've read about people getting this achievement during their first run, I've read that the achievement has nothing to do with actual exploring, but with other things like looting bodies and/or gathering moral points.

I am playing the game on Ranger Hardcore for my first playthrough and I was able to get it on my first playthrough. The achievement popped for me on the mission outpost where you play the dead commanders message. It popped when i was going down the stairs to go outside and cross the courtyard. I searched everything I could, got as many moral points as I could. I did not listen to conversations or save the reds on the mission War.
