Metro 2033
How long it the game?
It this similar to other games aka 1-2 hours of play, more like half-life aka 8 hours to complete. Or is it long than that?

I think it's longer than half-life, but not epic long. I'd say between 10 and 20 hours depending?
when you are fast 8-9 hours
The game MERTO 2033 takes about 4 or 5 hours on easy. On Ranger Hardcore 9 to 15 hours
METRO: Last Light is around 6 to 8 hours on easy. The diffence in time is because Last Light is so awesome you get sidetracked checking out the entire area in each chapter. If you really want to enjoy this game, try running it in 3D suround (Monitors x3 is needed). It is awesome once again. This game gets an unfair METSCORE of 81. METRO 2033 should have gotten 90 at least. This game has a great story line which will cause you to drift into the ZONE Note: have people let you know they approcahing you or they will scare the SH^%$ out of you. That is how intense the game becomes.

METRO: Last Light: is METRO 2033 on steroids and then some. I feel that the METEA score should have been a 94 at a min. You can compare this game with all the outher FPS's Exp Call Of Duty can't hold a light up on Last Light and especialy in 3D Surround mode, again awesome. I hae played through Last Light 3 times already and I am going back for more. BOPs II & MOH Warfighter, CODMW, 2 & 3, Fear, BF, 2,3. Metro 2033 falls in the middle of the group.Last Light is the best out of all the FPS I have listed. I know this because I own everyone of them and have played each one at least twice!!!!

Well good luck and enjoy

I spent about 16 hours or so on my last playthrough of Metro 2033. Don't rush through this game! It's much more fun to explore everything the metro has to offer. Also, if you rush you will miss important info and options, some with game-changing ramifications. There's even a secondary ending that you can unlock just by really becoming a part of the world. Listen to all the conversations, even those of your enemies. Interact with everything. Pay attention to what people say, and do. The game is far more subtle than most, and nothing is simply handed to you. The more you explore, the more you'll love this fantastic game.
It took me 34 hours to finish the game twice and 100% all the achievments. So if you're a complitionist, you can expect around the same time.
I have played 2033 a few times now and I am missing something if there is a differnt ending. Would you elaborate a little on the differnt ending?
I don't want to post any spoilers, but Metro 2033 (and Last Light) both have a hidden morality system in the game. If you explore the world as if you really were Artyom trying to understand his surroundings and make all the positive choices (and none of the negative ones) you get the opportunity to change your decision at the end of a game to a much more positive one. You can google/YouTube it if you like. You can know when you get a positive morality point because the screen will kind of become weird and you'll hear whispers for a brief moment. It's a bit hard to describe. The first one you can receive is for playing the guitar in his room at the very start to the game. Others are received for charitable actions, just listening to people talk, or looking/interacting in general. The hardest thing to remember is that even the enemy NPC's are human beings too.
Yeah, I think it's true and good.
if you are faster, it could take you less than 10 hours, but you wont get the principal idea of the game xD
You know it would be aussome if they would create a co-op that plays the story line together. I have yet to see a game do that and I have them all. DELTA FORCE BLACKHAWK DOWN was the only one that ever tried the co-op that way. Aussome game for the time.
