stealth kills??

whats the best way to stealth kill someone or something? ive tried everything and it always alerts enemies, i tried knife but that takes multiple swipes and struggle, is there an icon that comes up if you succesfully get behind someone? if so ive never seen it? Had a real trouble with bourbon when he gets captured and theres like 25 enemie russians in that area because once i did one kill they all were on alert. any tips? im playing on hard diffulculty. Not the hardest but second hardest.

Well at this point you should have a healthy supply of throwing knives (tap '1' twice) which at this point in the game are a one-hit-kill to unaware enemies. Stick to the shadows and trun off your headlamp.
Also if you look around somewhere you'll find a silenced Bastard machine gun which could come in handy.
Finally remember that you don't need to take out everybody in the area. By all means tae out woever's in your way but sometimes it's not worth it.

I cleared out dry station silently. It was a pain in the ass, but totally worth it.

Best ways to stealth kill are throwing knifes and using volt driver alternate fire.

Hellsing and Tihar are also good. Especially Hellsing since you can recover arrows from the dead bodies. However you'l have to choose between them and shotguns. And personally I like shotguns.
Also all enemies in this game are russian. So I'm not sure why you pointed that out.
