Will I deficate in the form of bricks?
A few friends of mine have played through this game multiple times. When questioned on the fear level, they both note that they did jump a few times but it "isn't that scary."
I'm looking for other opinions. How scary IS this game? Describe the worst bits (WITHOUT SPOILERS PLEASE)
Note: I dealt fine with all the Fallout titles, the oroiginal Bioshock, and the headcrab-zombie infested bit of Half Life 2.

It's been a while since I've played it but, this is definatly not a horror game, I think the only time I got a bit scared was when a huge enemy popped up and ran straight at me.

If you're looking for a horror game like the first Fear, this isn't the game for you.

If you're looking for an incredibly atmosfheric shooter where you'll get the best experience if you play it more stealthy, along with some interesting mechanics (bullets as money), then this is your game.

There are definitely very tense moments in the game produced by the dark, forboding, and mysterious atmosphere. No jump scares per say, but without spoiling anything, I'll say there are certain segments in the game in which I definitely had a heignted sense of fear as a result of my surroundings and the enemies I was facing.
Some enemies you encounter in said segments are undefeatable, because of the programming of the game and/or the nature of the enemy.

I am most certainly NOT looking for a horror game, so this seems lik I'll have a good bit of fun! thank you all

The game is great and has extremely good atmosphere, there are only a couple of levels that made me tense up because of the enemies, but mostly it's an action game with horror and stealth elements implemented. I would highly suggest it in all honesty.

I wouldn't call it scary. As others have said, it pulls off its atmosphere very well

Keeps you tense and throughs in a few jump scares. Don't worry it isn't Dead Space scary.
(Fun game by the way)

There are no invincible enemys just the really hard to kill kind.

This isn't Fear scary. No creepy little girl who creeps me out just thinking about her.
