Will my kids be able to play this?
Hi there, just wondring if anyone's kids ages about 8-10 ish played this yet and if it was easy enough for them to do.

Sorry im being lazy and couldnt be bothered watching youtube videos!!

As in every survival game- they will need to learn some things. Some will take longer, some will take no time. If they enjoy minecraft - they will enjoy this :)

We had a good number of children in this age range play the game at SXSW and really enjoy it. If they're unfamiliar with using a keyboard and mouse they may need some guidance to get started. I would recommend letting them start in creative mode until they feel more confident in moving around the world.

as for gratuitous gore, creatures just fall apart when defeated, and a puff of smoke will be added in next patch.

looking after and caring for the creatures is a big part of the game. you can't advance that far if you mistreat the critters you encounter.

yes, this game is fun and easy, and you get to choose the difficulty in the menu aswell as the gamemode.
