I like the game, but there are a fair number of complaints I would like to address. This review comes from someone who dabbles in astrophysics a bit.

The tutorials are clunky, the controls are rather clunky. These are minor, and playing around with the settings fixes it quite well.

Now for one of my big complaints: why, in space, do none of the ships have turrets on the "underside"? Assuming space itself does not have any proper up-down axis, you'd think there would be turret hardpoints pointing in all directions. This is not a naval game where you're only firing on ships using a firing arc using above-water turrets. Maybe this will be resolved in any future game the developers make. Or maybe they could patch this game. But I highly doubt it.

Overall it's a great game, and I would recommend the game for anyone who is just entering the genre of space sim games.
