I keep getting a disk write error when I try to install this game :( Does anyone know how to help me??

I know this is over 6 years old, but the same thing just happened to me. I tried installing this game after a long time of not playing it. I finally got it to work.

-First, I right-clicked the game in my steam library and selected uninstall.
-Next, I deleted the appmanifest_41000.acf in the Steam/steamapps folder.
-Then, I deleted everything in the Steam/userdata/###/41000 folder. If you're not sure, open your main Steam folder and search for 41000. When you find that folder, it has Serious Sam folder in the 41000/local folder. Just delete the entire 41000 folder.
- I then restarted Steam.

After that, the game installed normally. I just played a part of the first level to make sure it works!
