Why is the game in constant fast forward.

Im having a problem where everytime i start the game it runs in 10x speed. Its so bad to the point when i actually start the game I cant play it. Meatboy basically speeds himself into the ground and i cant jump. What could be the problem. I just installed the game?

Only fix is minimizing. Any way to play full screen without this happening?

Do you have Vsync turned on? The game doesn't limit fps in fullscreen with it being off.

and how might you turn VSYNC on? i am having this same problem, but there is no option for it in the game settings. thanks

If you are using Nvidia card, right click on desktop > Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Vertical Sync > On.
If you are on ATI card, right click on desktop > Catalyst Control Center > Preferences > Advanced View > Gaming > 3D Application Settings > Wait for Vertical Refresh > Always On.

Far from what I get fullscreen or not.
Way too fast to accomplish simple goals. I looked up a walkthrough and noticed why I've been stuck here - my copy is on fast-forward.

AKERU99's Method is a HOTFIX. it works. you need to enable VSYNC in your graphics settings, since team meat didnt include ♥♥♥♥ for options in this game's settings menu. which is a hassle, but nothing that's too big of a deal. this should be sticky noted on top of this game's discussion page. someone contact a moderator. i dont know how.
