Do not alt tab this game

idk what they've done since the last time i played but since i started again a few days ago, alt tabbing frequently crashes the game when i return to it. these crashes seem to have affected the game somehow as when i restart the game, ocassionally it will just hang after the 360 controller screen, or hang when loading a level (sometimes crashing in the process). PC is fine and i have restarted / restarted steam / verified game cache to rule out the usual issues.

I could play the game some months earlier but now it's just crashing every time after the gamepad screen.

same here , launching the .exe as Windows xp service pack 2 seem to help crash though

This is most annoying on windows 8 (yea, all new out of the box computers come forcefully with the crap that is windows 8). The "convinient" windows 8 mousepad shortcuts, that i often accidently trigger by a swipe when i'm using the wasd keys, work as alt+tab.

same here
