Play on Windowed mode, because Full Screen mode has some sort of input lag, the game is a lot more responsive and the controls are a lot better on Windowed mode, also you can alt tab without crash chance.

Have fun, from someone who played through the first 6 Worlds on Full Screen TT.

You tried using the "-meddetail" or "-lowdetail" in the launch options of the game? It bost the perfomance of the game.

It's a input lag problem not a fps problem.

Yeah I'm having this input lag issue myself. Makes me thing Vsync is enabled by default, rather than giving us an option to turn it off in the settings menu. VERY VERY lazy developer if they don't give an option like that in the settings menu. It's only one of the most important video options....

i just got the achievement Golden God 106% the game and i did it all full screen 0 lag

I think EVERY game, despite having a retro look graphics or not, should have a settings option to adjust quality
