No Death Steve
Hi all, I just used Steve to do a no death run for the first dark world. After completing, the game crashes. It seems to be more frequent when playing online. In offline mode it seems to be less frequent. That said...it still sux. Anyone else has this problem?

Just did a perfect No Death run with Steve but didnt get the achievement....whats up with that TEAM MEAT?

Steve disables that achievment, because you are technicly cheating throu the levels.(learned that the hard way too)

Steve doesn't count in No-deaths, due to his ability to alter the stage

thats nice, a useless character...

Steve can be a lot of fun to play with. But it would feel like a cheat to use him for any goals... his special requires no skill. By the way Meat Ninja also can't be used for no-death achievements.

agreed it would be a lot easier to use Steve in that way but it would be nice u get rewarded for the effort getting those dreadfull 100 bandages. Still some levels can be a bit of a challenge using Steve. Would have been awesome using him for no deaths . Btw guys how do i get the golden god? Light world all A+ incl Cotton Alley? + Dark world (with or without A+?)

You get Golden God by collecting every bandage, beating every warp zone and glitch level, unlocking every playable character and A+ing all the levels dark world included. Should result in 106% overall completion, although some people unlock the achievement earlier than that.

A+ing the dark world is not mandatory, you only need to beat the levels. Also the glitch levels do not count for Golden God.

Are you sure about the glitch levels? I might have been talking through my hat because when I got Golden God I had beaten the glitch levels, but then again I can't know for sure if they contributed. But I mean, you can get 100% completion and not unlock Golden God if you've beaten glitch levels because each adds 1% to the total completion, but I though Golden God requires you to beat the game 106%?

Yes, I’m pretty sure, Golden God doesn’t require the glitch levels. You can just look at the achievement stats: Golden God was achieved by 2.2% of the players, whereas that stat is only 1.3% for some glitch levels.

The mystery remains the stat for Seneca Falls (completing Cotton Alley Dark World) which is 1.1%. Indeed, some players have reported unlocking Golden God while still having a few levels to be done. Maybe someone with access to the source code could explain this.
