Texture problems? Try this!

Some people have been having problems with textures flickering in and out depending on what angle you are looking. If this affects you, and you have tried updating your graphics drivers (especially important for AMD GPUs), try the following:

As of 1.5.1, go to Options->Graphics->Technical Graphics Options->Turn Use Uniform Buffers off and restart.
Alternatively: Open the console (~, next to the 1), set r_gl_useUniformBuffers to 0 and restart the game.
(If for some reason you can't operate the console, look for the value in your kexengine.cfg in your Turok2 folder, and change the value there.)

It seems that while Uniform Buffer support should have been detected, some GPU drivers are misreporting support for the function, and it needs to be turned off manually.

As of 1.5.4, we now have two graphics options, DirectX11/10 and OpenGL. If you are having issues with one, try the other (found in the graphics options). DirectX11 is the default option, but OpenGL will still be used if you are using an older config.

how do you open the console ? im not a PC player but i love this game and yes my GPU is amd

um sorry to bother but what exactly should i type in.... im pretty bad with this stuff because ive tried entering it and i keep geting unknown command (not your fault again, im pretty clueless with this stuff)

tilde or the ~ on your keyboard next to the 1 key.

over here "~" is next to the enter key

nothing happens ingame if i press the button next to 1 or "~" next to the enter key

but i pressed every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ button now ... no console is showing up ... ♥♥♥♥♥ ?

(iam a gog user btw ... but it seems no dev is showing up in the forums over there)

ok, thank you its fixed i was entering "set r_gl_useUniformBuffers0" and stuff like that, i kind of fail when it comes to understanding using the console menu

Look for the value in kexengine.cfg in your Turok2 folder, and change the value there.

` is not ' . ' is next to the enter key, that's the wrong key. They key you are looking for is Tilde. Next to 1. Aka ~.

like i said ~ is next to enter on my keyboard
next to one is "^"

i pressed the key anyways and the console doesnt show up

but it doesnt matter i did the edit manually
