Broken achievements

Has anybody else had any issues with achievements not unlocking? I've shot all ten thrown items in the mini-game a good five or six times now without anything popping up.

It's not the first game I have seen this happen in and it makes me wonder why developers make games Steamworks-only and then botch up the very features they do it for such as achievements.

Any suggestions for a fix would be appreciated :)

The same situation. I've shot all ten thrown items in the mini-game for more than ten times. Not straight, but did not get the achievement. May need to get to ten series of ten shots without a miss? In my opinion is a mockery. Sorry my English.

Yes, the achievements don't pop up, even if you did it exactly. Around 10 Achievements are corrupted. They should fix it with a Patch, but i think they don't make a Patch.

I can't get any of the "learn everything about (blades, firearms, thoughness, cunning, voodoo)" achievements. Got them to 10/11, learned all the skills.... and still nothing. Is it broken or is it just me??

Hello i've just finish the game and it's the same problem : vaudou + marin + water monster + 250 quest + blade + unlock 100, are not working.
I hope in a futur patch.

i agree. this post started on sept 15 and to date nov 16 nothing has been done about fixing the achievements not unlocking. the developers JUST DON'T CARE.

ive got problems with the parrot, all the skills, the 250 quest, shooting mini game, lock picking, treasure chest achievements all-in-all 10 achievements. And im sure ive killed more than 50 sea monsters.

Why have achievement if you not gonna get it right. i enjoy doing the achievement. get it right please

Same for me most of the achievements are broken, i hope they will release a patch ASAP cuz this is bad after spending more than 100 hours in the game :/

I'd say that there will be definitely no patch for the achievement problems. I played the game right after release (meaning April/May 2012) and had the same problems with several achievements. Now it's december and according to your posts the problems are still there. So i think the developers won't do anything about that. Otherwise they already could have fixed that in the past 6 months...

I just hit 10 of 10 targets in all difficulty levels - and nothing. I thought I did something wrong, but now I see that problems with many achievements. It means I can quietly playing game and don't wasting time on the small bugged stuff.

Could those of you who were able to get kill or collect related achievements (such as pet cementary) briefly explain, what they did in order to get the achievements?

Do we need to kill far more monsters for example or do some savegames stop counting at some point? I must have killed 100 rats, turkeys and the like by now ...
