Game does not start

How to run the game?
I've got latest video driver and everything is up to date.. but the game does not even launch.
Short time after my status changes to "Ingame: Risen2" it goes back to online and nothing happens..
similar problems anyone?

Right click the game in your library, click properities, local files,click on validate game cache, once complete it will reload the failed file. worked for me.

So i tryed again this validated thing but know i started steam as admistrator and it work it ;D

the solution is for when the game dont start, if you're geting running but someting go wrong i recommend you to visit the pc gaming wiki, there is a article for risen 2 that helped me

well the game first ran smooth but after a brake like 5 months i wantet to play it again now i got same problem as you guys ?? have tried same as above,sems like at update ore somthing has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up

exactly same here. game is messed up ! first time it was functioning, no, its broken. we have to send support a mail
