$3.99 for game or $5.99 for bundle @ Amazon

I just picked up the bundle on Amazon sale for $6, Ive heard very mixed reviews but figure even if it sucks, its only $6.

Risen is not a bad game, once you get going. I found it initially very confusing. I couldn't train any further in swordfighting after ending up in the inquisition. Thus wasted skill points spent, or it had a bug. I didn't actually choose the inquisition, I think I chose the order, or the other way around. I ended up in a class I didn't choose basically.

Still the game bites and you have lots of fun. Risen 2, I am reserving judgement, but finding it equally perplexing.

I finished both Risen 1 + 2. Liked them both. The only thing I didn't complete was teh last boss fight on Risen 1. I was tired of the game by then, after struggling through with a great sword but low swordfighting skills. The boss fight, did provide a set of unique weapons, but the battel I just couldn't do it. The floor kept collapsing and I just gave in defeated.
