It crashes before it even start up

yeah im part of the big mob of people :/

Well when it starts up with Risen 2 on the desktop it crashes before it reaches it start up with the blackscreen and nothing else happens (crash lol)

Muchas gracias... he instalado el controlador de nVidia PhysX-9.13.1220 y por fin me ha funcionado el juego.
Pongo un comentario en castellano para que la gente de habla hispana pueda conseguir ayuda.

Para conseguir rodar o jogo quem tem o windows 8.1, faça o seguinte, se você tem a placa de video NVIDIA, vá em painel de controle e verifique qual a versão do seu PhysX, se o mesmo for a versão 9.12, faça o seguinte procedimento:

1) Remova ele.
2) Baixa a versão PhysX-9.13.1220
http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.13.1220-driver.html
3) Instale
4) Rode o jogo pelo Steam.
5) Pronto

Obs:
Ele iniciarizara em modo janela, para poder arrumar isto faça o seguinte:

1) Vá na pasta do jogo:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Risen 2\data\ini\
2) Edite o arquivo
ConfigDefault ( Use o bloco de notas )
3) Vá até a linha que cotem o texto:
FullScreen="false"
4 Mude para:
FullScreen="true"
5) Salve o arquivo
6) Inicie o jogo pelo Steam
7) Pronto

Obs:
Pode demorar um pouco a aparecer a imagem, mais não muito, acho que o meu demorou uns 30 segundos.
