limit unit

If not, play a game with someone else with the limit set to 1000. it gets set to the level in the last game you have played

go to your game prefs file and change it under the name of your current profile. the patth is C:\documents and settings\ {user name}\Application Data\Gas Powered Games\SupremeCommander 2\game.pref. when you are there, then go under the name of your profile name, find the stat titled unit cap, and type in 1000 instead of 500

just go and show the hidden files
it will give you appdata

The unit cap depends on how many people are playing. The more players, the lower the cap. AI units count as players. If it's 1v1 your cap should be 1000. If it's 8v8 your cap might go as low as 250. (It's happened to me b4)

Nope.

It's all determined by the host computer's setting in the gameprefs file, as others have said before. Number of players in the game has nothing to do with it.
