If so I will be glad to help.
Blender -> Export to .smd -> Compile with studiomdl -> Import to source.
I kind of hoped for help by people who were allready experienced with source modding. But all help is appreciated.
@TurretCube Submitting mods for greenlight cost 100$ the first time. And the chanches of being voted enough is too low I'm afraid.

You can find more info about Blender for Source here.
I've been playing around with Source since january, tried a little bit of everything but my most developed skill is modelling. Recently I've been replacing some of the Half-Life 2 models (mostly props, some weapons and that metro cop up there), nothing serious really, mainly testing the workflow, getting ready for Source 2. I still haven't touched Portal models but they shouldn't be too different.
So, I think I could help with that, I could use the practice. BUT if you want people with more experience you should show some work already done; concept art, map screenshots, gameplay videos, story, current state of the development, and the like. Something that makes them want to be in the team.
Anyways, if you have some sketches laying around I could make something for you to see if it is what you're looking for.
Allright. I've got some concept art here.
Teleporter concept: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=306015795
Turret concept: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=306015693
Gravity gun concept: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=306015556
I hope it will help you make the models.
The best thing to do at this stage would be to focus on the gameplay aspect; this way you won't need new textures, models, sounds, etc. until you have some maps finished. Just then you should focus on adding new assets. And some more tips.
Also, things people like to know before joining. How many people are in the team? What's your role in the team? Are you a mapper, a coder? What's the current state of the mod?
But that's just how I see things, so don't take it too seriously.
Team members: Me. Anyone else who want to join?
Maps done: A cocnept map with teleporters.
My work: Mapper. I'm no good at modeling, texturing or anything like that. Also, Valve has not released the source code for Portal. So coding is not possible/necessary.
