facetiousness aside, coming from a quake player myself, this game is pretty shoddy and limited and valve really shouldn't be charging five dollars for it
you may as well just play quake

I found this to be a lot more fun than quake. It's a preference thing. Also, I haven't fought any hacks yet.

and by hackers you mean you suck real bad to the point where you cant fathom how good players can bunny hop around you while shooting a rocket in your face while you chat and admire the textures

It's only confusing because you suck. Learn to play Quake. You're like one of those little kids that whined at the Quake Live devs until they dumbed down the game and made it pay to win for little kids.
