Feels heavy based on sector-based game "Faster than light" (FTL).
You Die -- you start over but with better ship until you reach final sector.

it is a game which "Galaxy on fire" and "FTL" is combined into one.
Also "Endless space" elements.

Game practically can be beaten in less than hour (if lucky).

Yet you need to die (game mechanics), in order to get upgrades for ship and that feels not worthy, feels wrong.
Which this is why am marking this game as negative.
It is alike trying to extend inevitable (player reaches final destination).

This is good example how to NOT extend 30 min game into at least 10+ hours game with passive technique. Despite this it is a good product.

best 5 bucks I've spent this year

I enjoyed this game, both in the gameplay loop and the story. However, I couldn't help but think of NMS, Freelancer, heck even DarkStar One, while playing.
A dedicated button to help take screenshots is a must in a game like this, because it looks stunning.
Some visuals really caught my attention, like bringing back the fear of Black holes (after playing Outer Wilds).

But I feel like there was some inconsistency with the story, perhaps it's my own fault, since I rushed so much.
