Is the tool good? Yes, does exactly what it says on the tin.

Has the dev lost his mind in the process? Yes, 100%. Abandoned the open source nature of his code and only updates this version. Hopefully after the oh so promised UI rewrite he will maybe UPDATE THE SOURCE CODE? This was supposed to be a donation, not the only intended way of aquiring the software. So ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sad to see open source devs become like this becuase of criticism ffs. I hate the steam community.

BTW REGARDING HIS NEW "AI COMPRESSION" SOFTWARE, WINDOWS ALREADY HAS SOMETHING SIMILAR! IT'S CALLED TRANSPARENT COMPRESSION, GOOGLE IT.
Right Click Folder > Properties > General > Under Attributes: Advanced > "Compress contents to save disk space".
This will save you tons of space!

Kinda hard to recommend a product that is free on git and charged here. OK so we buy it here to support the dev, i have no problem with that and i bought it for that. He seems like a man child when people are upset with him locking dark mode and an achievement behind a $5 paywall, labeled as a dlc...lol. This is an accessibility feature that should 100% be free. This is 100% scummy. He could have easily released another supporter pack and made the dark mode free and for that, i do not recommend. If this were a thing at the time of my purchase i would have never bought this. Light / Dark mode has always been considered an accessibility and shouldn't be paid dlc. If you absolutely need this, get it off git, do not buy it here.
