Medium-size spoiler: If you do want to get inside, I'm aware of one quick and non-violent way to do that by exploiting a certain game mechanic, not sure if I should elaborate on that any further.
Just a heads up there may very well be more "honest" ways to get in there, and I don't know them.
In the meanwhile, Sulik died while I was clearing Metzger and his goons out of Den(Succesfully, I denied the 1000 bucks from B over at the bar, but I got 2000 off that gambler, also plasma grenade and microfusion cells).
Now I'm running quests for the Wrights in NR, I need to get past two of those turrets, but I have no long-distance weaponry, so I'll have to make a stimpak-induced dash for the entrance. (Also, found a rocket launcher, but my aim is so piss-poor that I can't possibly clear a turret).
The easiest thing I do is instead of his usual combat controls, I have direct control of my companions which the latest Sfall[sourceforge.net] versions supply.
I got my hands on a sniper rifle in vault 15, but I have trouble getting out past the horde of khan raiders on level 1(I have a level-up perk to spend but I don't know for which one to go)... little more than 'just' trouble.
I've tried to get trough level 1 twenty times already, I keep getting burstfired for 40-50 health(I have 59 health) and never make it past the vault entrance. I try to use my super stim, but I generally die before I can refill.
Are you sure you didn't want to reload a save so you could help those ghouls in Gecko? It's always important to be mindful in the towns, as becoming enemies with one disables access to potential quests.
