Sulik and Wakizashi any sense?

I recently found few Wakizashi blades and noticed when putted in Sulik's inventory they are best weapon. Any sense to use this since I noticed that many make him use sledge or this just some other reason like knock-back effect best with it.

So in total any sense to make sulikn use this.

PS: I really like him as melee character.

It's a very nice weapon for Sulik. His highest combat skill is Melee, and the wakizashi has a hidden armour piercing perk. I think the hammer is overrated, it costs too many APs and causes that annoying knockback.

Well it kinda makes sense, but super sledge is still much better option because of his strenght.
Also after he develops a bit he will start oneshotting pretty much everything, the minus thing being that the corpses slide for miles when he scores critical hits :D

He's good with a ripper and super sledge too iirc, might get him mixed up with a diff char. And yeah he's great with a p90

I always got a laugh out of fallout 1 and 2 because of the orbital launch superhammer.

Armor piercin on the blade you say, i'll have to try. Usually I load sulik up with all the 10mm ammo i find and give him an smg to start, then a p90 when i find it. The tribal can burst something fierce.

he's pretty good with smgs up until he blasts you by mistake.

Put this under the [Misc] tab in your ddraw.ini:

What happens? No more concern about Sulik's AI stupidity, nor about having a minigun blowing out your ass!

I just got Sulik and he's awesome with a sledgehammer so far hehe

It works for literally every companion in Fallout 2, even that mutant whose lips aren't held by a strap! Heck, even the aimed attacks are amazing when you can for example make Sulik stab everyone's eyes out like they were ugly cyclops.
