I don't really understand people who argue that one Fallout game is better than another. After all, they are the same series! I mean, I do understand having a personal preference, but me, I love them all.

Fallout 1 & 2 are far more strategic and old school than Fallout 3 & NV. 3 and NV are far more shooty and faster-paced. They are pretty much dissimilar games, that each play differently. When I want to think and play out the story, I jump into the first 2 Fallouts (or Tactics). When I want to run around the Wasteland blowing people away and turning into a complete beast of a survivor, i pop in 3 or NV. They each serve a different role, and they each do well in that role.

All Fallouts are fun. At least in my opinion.

New Vegas takes after Fallout 2's storyline while fallout 3 does not follow the storyline. Bethesda was like "Oh there were fallout spin offs but the fans have waited for a true sequel and fallout 3 is that sequel." When in reality fallout 3 is a spin off that has nothing to do with fallout 2.

New Vegas is the true sequel.

You do realize they took fallout 1 2 and tactics down just so they can fix them up. They own the games now if they were greedy they wouldnt take the games down just to take them down, that would loose them money.

Thats what i heard. They are just removing interplays logos and putting theres in (supposedly) and will fix the color issues.

Will you link me the place where you found the ceist and desist order? i never heard of that.

I still find it funny how Bethesda claims fallout 3 is the true sequel everyone has been waiting for since Fallout 2 when in reality New Vegas is the true sequel to Fallout 2.

I love Fallout 3 but i do agree with you. New Vegas should have been called 3 since its in the same area. Fallout 3 should have been like the beginning to a new trilogy or something.

..................New Vegas is the closest to California...and has all the returning factions (NCR, BoS, Vipers etc) but still.....F3 take's place in 2277...NV in 2281 a 4 year diffrence....i think the reason they wanted to do F3 in DC is to make the Enclave return...also don't BS about F3.....or else Liam Neeson will find you
